Did Ariana Grande’s Cat Ears Fail To Impress Chrissy Teigen? Model Denies Hateful Tweet Was Directed At Singer [Video]
Ariana Grande took her amazing singing voice and her omnipresent cat ears to Saturday Night Live over the weekend, but there was at least one viewer whom she failed to impress. Chrissy Teigen, with whom Ariana Grande had publicly feuded previously, took to Twitter to voice her displeasure about the singer’s feline style, or so it seemed.
According to The Gloss, Chrissy Teigen dissed Ariana Grande’s whimsical cat ears in a way that was just mean-spirited and harsh. It was a tweet from the 28-year-old model herself that started the rumor.
I love your cat ear headband it alerts me to immediately hate you

Chrissy Teigen’s comment ignited a firestorm of media attention, which the model was more than willing to address in a subsequent tweet. Teigen made a valid point: she never specifically called out Ariana Grande for the cat ears. So her hatred could be directed at anyone who happens to have a penchant for excessively wearing cat ears headbands.
.@theglossdotcom @ArianaGrande what attack? is she the first and only to wear cat ears? slow news day.

After Chrissy Teigen tweeted at The Gloss several times about the cat ear issue, the site posted a retraction of sorts.
“Chrissy Teigen has tweeted at us several times and apparently she was not speaking about Ariana Grande. She is not upset (we will know when she is upset!), so…continue with your day.”
Just as a point of reference, Ariana Grande’s Instagram account does feature nearly a dozen pics of the singer wearing the car ears. She is pictured wearing them onstage, offstage, while sipping from a plastic cup, in silhouette, smiling at the camera, pursing her lips and kissing Miley Cyrus, and that’s just on the first page of photos. Then there’s the video of her Saturday Night Live performance. You guessed it–cat ears.
If Teigen was indeed talking about Grande, then Hollywood Life thinks her comment is just “low.”
Since Ariana Grande is one of today’s hottest young celebrities, her name is never far from the headlines. As previously reported by The Inquisitr, her rumored beau recently had kind words to say about her, even if they haven’t quite confirmed that they are actually in a relationship.
“I am going to tell you this: Ariana [Grande]’s very, very special. She’s very special to me,” Big Sean said about the diminutive superstar. “Everything she has going on is good with her. Everything I have going on is good with me. Everything between me and her is good, and I’m just going to leave it at that,” he told Ryan Seacrest during an interview.
He probably even likes her cat’s ears. Chrissy Teigen probably does not.
Do you think Ariana Grande’s cat ears headband is adorable? Love it or hate it, your comments are welcome.
