Sarah Palin: Obama Is ‘The Media’s Favorite President’
Speaking at the Value Voters Summit in Washington, D.C. on Friday, former vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin slammed what she called “the lamestream media” on a number of issues, according to ABC News.
“The lies that they tell about you, calling you the intolerant ones, the haters, the bigots. Oh, and that disgusting charge of being racist,” Palin told the audience. “I’m speaking to the most slandered group in America today.”
However, Palin seemed to have a problem remembering the White House address during her speech.
“Don’t retreat,” Palin said. “You reload with truth, which I know is an endangered species at 1400 Pennsylvania Avenue, anyway – truth.”
As ABC News reports, there is no 1400 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, but there is a 1401 Pennsylvania Avenue NW. That is the address for Willard Hotel. The White House is located at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Palin later made a joke of her error on Twitter.

However, Twitter users went after Palin for her gaffe and even started the hashtag, #At1400Pennsylvania.

Sarah Palin probably still needs her address and home telephone number sewn into her coat in case she gets lost. #At1400Pennsylvania — Highly scatological (@RaisingOneBrow) September 27, 2014

Sarah Palin’s speech also criticized President Obama and the way the media reports about him.
“[He is] the media’s favorite president,” she said. “He just can’t stop telling lies.”
There was even a moment in which Sarah Palin took out a Styrofoam cup and mocked President Obama’s “latte salute,” which drew heavy criticism from conservatives.
“[He] still hasn’t learned how to salute our Marines,” Palin added.
According to the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, Palin reminded the audience that, after 2016, Obama will no longer be president.
“Take time to rejoice,” she said. “In two years, it’s going to be the end of an error, the Obama error.”
Palin also noted how the media slammed George W. Bush for going to war, but it seems okay for Obama to be doing it.
“Bush’s war was bad, but Barack’s bombs? Oh, baby; those red lines? The strategy there – Barack’s bombs. Oh, they’re the bomb. Well, for goodness’ sake,” she said.
As previously reported by The Inquisitr, rumors began circulating that Sarah Palin and her husband may be going through a divorce, after Sarah was spotted not wearing her wedding ring. However, she denied those rumors at the summit, according to MSNBC.
“I rarely wear a ring up in Alaska; we’re chopping wood or butchering a moose or something,” Palin explained.
