Amber Rose Gets $1 Million From Divorcing Wiz Khalifa – And That’s Not All!
Amber Rose is walking away from her one-year marriage to Wiz Khalifa with $1 million, according to TMZ.
That’s right — one million dollars!
According to the report from TMZ, Amber Rose insisted on creating a detailed prenuptial agreement that was more than eight pages long before she got married to Wiz Khalifa on August 18, 2013.
Once the divorce was officially confirmed, it was also reported that Amber Rose did not hesitate to pull out the prenuptial agreement in order to make sure that all applicable conditions are enforced.
Based on the terms and conditions of the agreement, Amber Rose is entitled to a one-time payout of $1 million. That is nearly 20 percent of Amber Rose’s current net worth, according to Celebrity Net Worth.
That should be enough, right? For most divorcees, receiving $1 million in the settlement would be a dream come true. However, Amber Rose made sure that she had a little more financial protection lined up just in case her marriage to Wiz Khalifa fell apart – which it clearly did in a relatively short period of time.
Therefore, in addition to the $1 million one-time payout, Amber Rose will also be receiving a “modest” amount of spousal support from Wiz Khalifa on a monthly basis. According to TMZ, the “modest” amount is a little more than $5,000, which adds up to over $60,000 a year.
Amber Rose confirmed earlier this week that she was filing for divorce from Wiz Khalifa. The official reason that was listed on the paperwork was “irreconcilable differences,” but there have been rumors about cheating scandals and infidelity bouncing back and forth between the two of them through Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram messages.

However, cheating has nothing to do with the enforcement of this prenuptial agreement since California is a no-fault state.
The reason why child custody is not mentioned within the multi-page prenuptial agreement is because of the fact that it is up to the judge to decide, which he or she will do in the best interests of their son, Sebastian. It has been reported that Amber Rose is requesting full physical and legal custody. Through her recent Twitter messages, Amber Rose mentioned that her main focus right now is her son.

In regards to what happens to Sebastian, that is still up to the court to decide once everything is said and done. However, at least Amber Rose gets to have a $1 million settlement to walk away with whether she gets full custody or not.
