Police Capture Image Of Ghost On Surveillance Camera
Officers at a northern New Mexico police station caught something strange and unusual on surveillance footage outside of their station this past weekend and some of them are convinced they now have video of a ghost, caught on camera.
Officer Karl Romero was keeping an eye on the station’s surveillance camera when he noticed something unusual moving in a gated area, The Daily Mail reports. The station’s sally port, a controlled entryway, was completely sealed off yet CCTV cameras revealed a spectral, ghost-like figure moving through the area. According to detectives at the station, there is no way to enter or exit that section without opening a gate and sounding an alarm.
Romero reported the ghostly image, which was captured on video, to his superiors, as KOAT 7 notes. At first, he thought that the movement was caused by a moth or bug, yet as he watched, Romero noticed that the ghostly apparition moved strangely, and appeared to have legs. When questioned about the unusual footage, Romero admitted that he entertained the possibility of a paranormal explanation.
“I do believe in ghosts — I don’t know (what exactly was on the video), but we’ve had some unsolved murders in the area,” he said.

Earlier this month CCTV footage surfaced online, purported to have originated in England. Taken in 2009, it shows a shadowy, ghost-like black figure near the entrance to Dover Castle, which vanishes into thin air. Considered one of the most haunted buildings in the UK, Dover Castle has a violent history and a long series of ghost sightings. The apparition of a man’s lower body has been seen on several occasions. A headless figure and a ghostly woman dressed in a long red dress have also been spotted on the castle grounds amid the sounds of disembodied voices, screams, and doors that open and close of their own accord, as The Inquisitr previously noted.

Police assert that no inmates have ever died at the station, nor is it built upon a burial ground of any kind. Other officers, however, have also admitted to hearing unusual noises and observing unexplained images in the lobby of the station, although none of the other ghostly apparitions have been caught on camera.
