Nick Cannon Says ‘Nothing Happened’ With Amber Rose, They Only Shared Break-Up Stories
Nick Cannon is getting roasted in the media, with rumors circulating that he is the reason Amber Rose is divorcing Wiz Khalifa. TMZ reports that Mariah Carey’s soon-to-be ex begs to differ, telling friends that nothing happened in the “cheating department.”
The America’s Got Talent host recently signed Amber to his company, NCredible Entertainment, fueling rumors that Cannon is not only managing her career, but he is also looking to score a little play-time with the queen of twerking.
When word got out that Amber filed for divorce from rapper Wiz Khalifa this week, Nick Cannon immediately went on the defensive, making it clear that he had nothing to do with the couple’s split. TMZ reports that sources close to Nick claim that he kept his relationship with Amber Rose strictly professional, and had no idea until he signed her on as a client that she was close to filing divorce papers. At that point, Cannon reportedly started to share break-up stories with Amber, but nothing more.

Obviously, Nick and Amber have a lot in common, with both celebs currently dealing with marital problems. As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Nick and his wife, Mariah Carey, have been living apart for months and may be headed for divorce. There have been many rumors during their six year marriage that Nick has been less than faithful, with Celeb Dirty Laundry reporting that Nick cheated on her so often that Mariah hired security to watch him.
His rumored cheating may be the reason why so many people are speculating Nick is the reason Amber Rose filed for divorce, but it looks like there was trouble brewing in Wiz and Amber’s marriage long before Nick entered the picture. TMZ’s sources state that both Wiz and Amber are each accusing the other of cheating, and “the split is bitter.”
Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa were married 14 months ago and have a 1-year-old son, Sebastian. Us Weekly states that Rose filed for divorce in L.A. Superior Court on Monday, citing irreconcilable differences. She did not contest Khalifa’s pre-nup, but is reportedly asking for full custody of her son, with limited visitation rights for Wiz.
