Ginnifer Goodwin Talks Baby Oliver, Husband Josh

Ginnifer Goodwin is the proud mama of baby Oliver, wife to husband Josh Dallas, and a star of one of the most popular shows on television. Life is good for Goodwin, who seems to be making a name for herself as one-half of quite the power couple in Hollywood. Ginnifer returned to the red carpet this week, just four months after giving birth, and just in time to help promote the new season premiere of Once Upon a Time.

During the premiere, Ginnifer gushed about her new baby boy, and told Us Weekly she definitely isn’t having to raise him alone. Goodwin said husband Josh Dallas is very engaged and is working hard to make sure she has support.

“He also has not slept since mid-May. I’m always telling him, ‘You can sleep,’ but he won’t, he always helps,” Goodwin said. “He’s my knight in shining armor.”

Ginnifer said Oliver is at an age now where he’s grabbing things and investigating quite a bit. This makes things quite interesting for Dallas and Goodwin when it comes to keeping an eye on their baby boy. Ginnifer Goodwin says the people involved in Once Upon a Time have been incredibly supportive, and have even allowed Oliver to have his own trailer.

Ginnifer says the trailer has a Star Wars theme, and it allows Goodwin to see her baby every couple of hours. Ginnifer Goodwin understands she and her husband are in a very fortuitous situation because they can bring their child to work. The 36-year-old actress understands most working families don’t have a benefit like that. Ginnifer appears to have a solid head on her shoulders when it comes to whether or not Oliver should follow in his famous parents’ footsteps.

The up-and-comer said she and her husband have talked about gently nudging their son in any direction but acting. It appears there won’t be a cameo in the works when it comes to Once Upon a Time either. In fact, when questioned about that very possibility, the proud mama responded “absolutely not.” Despite having a great deal of her own success, she understands the trials and tribulations actors and actresses have to go through in order to find success. Her own career is up and running now, but she got a relatively late start. Despite hitting it big somewhat late in life, the sky seems to be the limit for Ginnifer Goodwin.
