Erica Mena Is Engaged To Bow Wow

Reality star Erica Mena is officially engaged to Shad Moss, the rapper known as Bow Wow. Mena confirmed the engagement on the red carpet of the BET Hip Hop Awards that happened this past Saturday, according to BET News.

Bow Wow is currently the host of the BET show 106 & Park, an American music video show that plays hip hop and R&B in a countdown format reminiscent of old MTV programming. Erica Mena is the host of a hip hop show of her own titled Love & Hip Hop.

Bow Wow and Erica Mena dated for only six months before he proposed. But it seems Erica is the woman of Bow Wow’s dreams and Mena was happy to accept.

Erica stalls for a second, then says, “Umm… He’s actually my fiancé.”

Mena then proceeds to show off her engagement ring and tell the interviewer, “I just gave you an exclusive, mother f***er.”

Erica Mena rose to fame through her show Love & Hip Hop, which returns with a new season in November, according to Mena herself. Meanwhile, Bow Wow recently got cast on in a spin-off show CSI: Cyber. Mena’s future husband claims he no longer wants to be called Bow Wow, but rather by his full name Shad Moss.

Moss and Mena have never been seen in public together except for a brief appearance by Mena on 106 & Park. During her visit, Erica Mena kissed Bow Wow on camera, which was the first time many of their fans learned they were an item.

Moss has since shared a photo of Mena’s engagement ring on his Instagram account without a caption.

Erica Mena seems very happy with Bow Wow. According to Hollywood Life, Mena recently spoke with No Judgment Zone w Blogxilla and gushed about her relationship with the rapper. At the time, Erica hadn’t revealed that the two were even dating, let alone engaged.

“I love working with him,” Mena said, “I’ve known him for so long, we always come together and work. And it’s now that we’re finally at this mature stage more than anything, the great thing about me being around him is I learn so much for him. He’s such a good, regular, down, guy. He’s all about his family. That’s rare to find. He’s never once judged me, either. His friendship definitely means a lot to me. It’s a big deal.”
