Suspended Jameis Winston Dresses For Clemson, FSU’s Fisher Frustrated Response Is A Must See
The sage of Florida State’s Jameis Winston continues to take one bizarre turn after another. The star quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner was suspended for Saturday night’s game against the Clemson Tigers, but he decided to dress in full pads, helmet, and uniform anyway. He even took the time to warm up. A clearly frustrated Jimbo Fischer sent the troubled player back to the locker room after discovering what had happened.
Winston’s apparently clueless decision was picked up by Twitter users including former FSU quarterback and current ESPN analyst Danny Kanell. Even he seemed stunned by the Jameis’ behavior.

And let’s just say the conversation between jameis and jimbo was less than jovial. The sideshow circus continues. Let’s hope team can focus

That on-field conversation between Seminole Head Coach Fisher was caught by gifdsports and posted on Twitter by gifdsports. You couldn’t come up with a more exasperated expression for the coach if you tried.

Winston was suspended for the Clemson game after yelling a sexual obscenity in the middle of an outdoor common area on the Florida State campus. The school initially made the decision to suspend the quarterback for only the first half of the game. That changed Friday night when the school extended the suspension to the entire game. The extension was due to the FSU administration “finding a discrepancy” in Winston’s story. According to eye witnesses at the time, Winston jumped on a table and yelled an obscenity based on an internet meme involving a guy describing what he’d like to do to a woman and her anatomy.
While Winston has been an unstoppable force on the field for Florida State, he’s been a constant source of embarrassment off of it. He’s currently under investigation for a long-standing rape allegation, and he was busted for shoplifting crab legs from a supermarket earlier this year.
Suspended players are not supposed to dress out for college football. Winston has now carried over his embarrassing antics to the field in full sight of all the fans in the stadium and the millions of people watching on TV. How will Florida State respond?
Update: Winston eventually returned to the sidelines in regular clothes and his FSU jersey. Backup quarterback Sean Maguire has not performed well.
