Is The End Near For Kourtney Kardashian And Scott Disick?
The relationship between Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick has always seemed tumultuous — even with two kids together and a third on the way. But soon after the news broke that Kourtney was having another baby, the rumors that the two might actually split began again.
It has undoubtedly been a rough summer for the couple. Scott Disick ended up hospitalized because of his drug and alcohol abuse.
According to The Examiner, “The drug overdose and alleged suicide attempt came shortly after Kourtney kicked Disick out of their house for coming home drunk in the middle of the night. The incident occurred just weeks after Disick was hospitalized for alcohol poisoning in June 2014. At the time, Disick had promised to stop drinking until after his third child was born, but he clearly was unable to stay sober.”
Although Scott has insisted that he is done with drinking and is committed to a healthier lifestyle, reports of his partying continue to surface, and even Kourtney seems to be preparing for the worst. Scott has repeatedly refused to go to rehab, despite Kourtney’s pleas for him to do so.
But even with all the drama from Scott, it seems it’s Kourtney who is afraid that the relationship might end, rather than Kourtney being the one who is ending it.
One insider claim, “She’s terrified she’s going to end up a single mother, dumped in the delivery room. Kourtney will be left with three children and no one to father them.”
Of course, the fact that Scott has spent so much time partying, leaving Kourtney at home with the two kids they have together, makes some wonder just how different life would really be for Kourtney as a single mother, anyhow.
Scott had admitted that he has been depressed, and has suffered from anxiety since both his parents died back in 2013; his mother, Bonnie, died in October, followed by his father, Jeffrey, three months later. Disick, an only child, has understandably been grieving and having trouble adjusting to life without either of his parents.
He blames his grief over their deaths to his horrible reaction to Kourtney when she revealed that she was, in fact, pregnant with their third child. When he found out the news, Scott told Kourtney that having just the two children they had was exhausting, and just the thought of adding a third was incredibly overwhelming, especially as he was still processing the news of his parents’ deaths.
He told Kourtney, “You just keep suckering me into these kids. I can’t handle this responsibility. I just can’t take care of more kids. I can barely take care of myself. I am hanging on by a string. I’ve hit rock bottom.”
