LeAnn Rimes Tabloid Rumors: Star Mocks Eddie Cibrian Marriage, Baby Woe Claims
There are always LeAnn Rimes tabloid rumors making the rounds. Sometimes the singer and reality TV star ignores them and sometimes she fires back. This week, she took to Twitter to mock some of the latest rumors. While her tweet may not get anybody to back off, at least she probably felt a bit better about fighting back.
The Rimes tweet specifically called out OK! and the National Enquirer this time around. It seems that the latest LeAnn Rimes tabloid rumors indicate that the singer and her husband, Eddie Cibrian, are headed for an expensive divorce since he doesn’t want kids with her and he’s been cheating on her for months.
LeAnn even jokes that there are probably somehow aliens involved and she adds that this divorce has supposedly been coming for about a year. Rimes added quite a few lengthy hashtags to the end of the post and mocked how the tabloids are always in the know.
As GossipCop notes, the National Enquirer has a long history of creating stories about LeAnn and Eddie that never seemed to have any truth to them. While there are always claims being made about Eddie cheating, LeAnn being afraid he’ll cheat and Rimes wanting a baby, some of the other rumors are more out there.
At one point, stories have claimed that Rimes was too fat to wear her ring from Eddie. Another story making the rounds was that she was trying to get full custody of Eddie’s sons, Mason and Jake, with former wife Brandi Glanville. Yet another story claimed that she’d canceled a tour because she was worried Cibrian would cheat in her absence.
Seeing LeAnn get snarky on Twitter is nothing new, as the star regularly bites back at criticism and rumors via the social media site. Of course many know that she and Eddie’s ex, Brandi, have gone a few rounds on Twitter, and Rimes has even been involved in a lawsuit over Twitter battles.
While the tabloids are unlikely to back off of LeAnn and Eddie, and they are quite aware of that, it seems that once in a while Rimes feels the need to stand up for herself and push back against the rumors. Are any of the latest LeAnn Rimes tabloid rumors true? Many would guess there are some kernels of truth within some of them, but one really never knows when it comes to this star.
