Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert Living Apart: ‘They Go Days Without Speaking’
Country music stars Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert are living apart and it’s reportedly taking a toll on their marriage. OK! Magazine states that Blake and his wife are both on tour right now, but they don’t make an effort to stay in touch with each other.
“They can go days without speaking. They’ll send a couple of texts, but that’s all they have time for. It’s taking a toll on the marriage.”
Work seems to come before marriage for Shelton and Lambert, and the lack of communication is leading to plenty of speculation that their three year marriage is in trouble. However, OK! reports that despite rumors that Blake parties too hard and may have cheated on Miranda, the couple is trying to stay together. Living apart for months at a time would put a strain on any relationship; add in the celebrity factor and that makes things even more difficult.

Back in May, when gossip about an impending split was at an all time high, Miranda attempted to set the record straight in a Billboard Magazine interview. She stated that the couple is humored by the constant rumors about their impending divorce.
“I think I’ve had like five sets of twins in the last two years, and we’ve been divorced four times, and one of us had a $100 million divorce.”
Blake, who was rumored to have had an affair with singer Cady Groves in 2013, also talked about their marriage to People magazine, stating that they totally trust each other and that he has “nothing to hide” from Miranda, even giving her full access to his cell phone.
Blake and Miranda may not be living separately for long, which may start to calm the constant rumors that their relationship is on the rocks again. Lambert’s final concert in Las Vegas ends in early October and Shelton will soon be settled in L.A. when a new season of The Voice begins. OK! Magazine‘s sources state that Lambert will probably stay in Los Angeles while her husband is spinning around in his red chair and coaching future stars.
If anyone is trying to keep this celebrity relationship afloat, the credit goes to Miranda. Blake has mentioned in the past that his wife typically flies out to see him instead of heading home, and that she is really good at finding him when he’s “stuck in L.A.”
