‘Bachelor’ Sean Lowe’s New Book Has Ridiculously Long Title: Will Anyone Read His ‘Godly’ Memoir?

Bachelor star Sean Lowe has a new book coming out and it has an incredibly long title. Does the length of the title mean it will be a great read? Fans of the reality TV star will have to wait until January to find out, but Lowe seems to think his book is going to be a big hit.

On Thursday, Sean posted an announcement on Instagram about his forthcoming book, For the Right Reasons: America’s Favorite Bachelor on Faith, Love, Marriage, and Why Nice Guys Finish First and the reaction from his followers wasn’t completely positive.

One of his Instagram followers stated, “he’s really milking this bachelor fame!!” but that negativity was tempered by others who seem to be excited that Sean wrote a book about finding love on television, a topic that he hasn’t stopped talking about for the entire 18 months since his season ended.

For those who couldn’t get enough juicy gossip in Bachelor Ben Flajnik’s ex-girlfriend Courtney Robertson’s tell-all book (with an equally long title), I Didn’t Come Here to Make Friends: Confessions of a Reality Show Villain, Sean Lowe’s book may be the answer.

However, he may not reveal all of the down-and-dirty details about the show like Courtney did. Expect Lowe’s book to be less catty and more Godly, especially since the press release for Lowe’s new book uses words like “solid faith” and “warm candor” to describe the soon-to-be released memoir.

Of course, there’s always the incentive of winning a free iPad mini that may get the naysayers to read For the Right Reasons. On Thursday, Sean tweeted that his publisher, Nelson Books is offering fans a free autographed book and a chance to win an iPad mini for anyone who pre-ordered the book written by the self-proclaimed “America’s Favorite Bachelor.”

WetPaint states that although Sean’s book is sure to have plenty of “faith talk” and “gushing over his wife,” but the reality star promises that it will also address some really pressing topics, including “why don’t people ever eat on Bachelor dates?”

Lowe, who not only posted about his book on Instagram and Twitter, wrote about the upcoming release on his blog, Patheos.

“Over the past year, I’ve been writing a book about my life and experiences — both in the Bachelor world and beyond. Even before Catherine and I got married, I had already sat down and begun writing this book, so it’s been hard to keep it a secret…”

Sean Lowe‘s book will be released on January 27, 2015, but it can be pre-ordered now on Amazon for $18.62. The book will retail for $24.99 after the pre-order period ends.
