Sharon Osbourne Slit Her Wrists To Prove Her Love For Ozzy, She Also Hates U2
Sharon Osbourne carries herself as the less odd member of the Ozzy clan. However, on The Talk, she revealed that there was a time that she wanted to prove her love to Ozzy so much that she slit her own wrists.
Sharon Osbourne revealed that the event took place in a hotel room when she was only twenty seven years old. She admitted that the episode occurred while the two were drunk.
“I’ve never discussed it out of embarrassment of how stupid I was at the time to do such a thing to myself. I was 27, I was going out with Ozzy at the time … and when we first got together, we would drink a lot. We had a session of partying … and it’s about four in the morning and he says to me, ‘How much do you really love me?’And I’m saying, ‘I’d do anything for you, anything, I absolutely adore you … I’d give my life for you.'”
Now 61, Sharon Osbourne admits that it was a bit of a silly way to prove her love, and stated that she was admitted to a psychiatric ward after the event in order to ensure she would not harm herself further.
Sharon is often asked about her scars and has opted to blame them on a dog attack.
“It’s sad, pathetic on a 61-year-old … please let it go away already. It’s a reminder to us all.”
On Twitter, Sharon went on a different sort of rant in regards to the free U2 album that every iOS user is being forced to own. The first tweet was sent out at 12:53 p.m. on September 15.
“U2 you are business moguls not musicians anymore. No wonder you have to give your mediocre music away for free cause no one wants to buy it.”
She followed up ten minutes later with another tweet.
“Jimmy Iovine, iTunes, U2, you’re a bunch of megalomaniacs. [expletive deleted] YOU!”
Even at her age, Sharon Osbourne doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon. Her love of Ozzy is still going strong and so is she, despite the attempted suicide. Her family may have their share of problems, but they are always there to support each other in their times if need.
What are your thoughts on Sharon’s attempted suicide in the name of love? What about her rant toward U2 and the release of their new album?
