Alexis Bledel Reunites With ‘Sisterhood’ Cast — Sequel On The Way

Alexis Bledel recently had a reunion with the cast members of the film The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. Alexis and the other three main cast members of the 2005 hit movie met up for a friendly brunch and snapped some photos in the process.

According to WebProNews, Alexis Bledel and her co-stars shared photos on their social media accounts at some casual diner. They were seated at a long counter wearing comfortable clothes and seemingly very little makeup. Alexis can be seen in the center of the crew smiling happily among her old friends.

The cast members included Alexis Bledel, Blake Lively, Amber Rose Tamblyn, and America Ferrara.

America shared the photo with Alexis, Amber, and Blake on her Instagram, captioning it, “Always a good day when I’m with my sisters #DeLosPantalones Love these amazing women.”

Amber Tamblyn also shared the photo of Alexis and company, captioning it, “Brunch with my best b****es. #sisterhood.”

According to E! Online, Alexis Bledel and her co-stars weren’t only best friends in the film, they’re also good friends in real life. A sequel to The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants has been announced, but so far there is no word if Alexis Bledel or any of the other actresses will return to reprise their roles.

Although, America Ferrara has said she’d be interested.

“I think it would be amazing if there was [a sequel!” Ferrara said. “All my ‘Sisterhood’ girls are very close to me.”

Alexis Bledel hadn’t been heard from much until this Sisterhood reunion. Bledel recently got married to Mad Men star Vincent Kartheiser in secret and has been staying out of the public eye since. Alexis and Vincent got engaged in March of 2013 after meeting on the set of his show and decided to tie the knot quietly in California during the summer.

“I told Vinnie that they would be great together,” said Matthew Weiner, the creator of Mad Men, said about Alexis and Vincent. “I was like, ‘Don’t blow it’ Honestly, they’re a really good match. They’re both very down-to-earth, with a sense of responsibility and strong family ties. And they’ve been acting since before they can remember, which makes for a very special personality. It’s not just that I thought they would look cute together.”

Alexis Bledel is most famous for staring on the Gilmore Girls. In addition to a Sisterhood sequel, a Gilmore Girls film starring Alexis Bledel could also be in the works.
