Eva Mendes Gives Birth To A Baby Girl: Ryan Gosling Is A Dad!

Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling welcomed their first child together on Sept. 12. According to Us Weekly, Eva gave birth to a baby girl on Friday, but was able to do so privately.

Of course this goes in line with how the world found out that Eva and Ryan were expecting — it wasn’t until Eva was about 7 months pregnant that photogs caught her trying desperately to hide her baby bump.

Ryan and Eva certainly know how to stay out of the public eye. Unfortunately this means that there aren’t any more details about the baby. No weight, length, time of birth, or baby name has been revealed. And forget a first photo. The public may not get to see this child for months. That doesn’t mean that the couple isn’t happy about their new addition, it just means that they want to enjoy this time privately, as a “normal” family.

According to OK! Magazine, Eva really wanted to become a mother. Although the baby was reportedly unplanned, Eva and Ryan have been excited since finding out the news. And now, they are parents.

“[Eva’s] been ready for motherhood for a while now and to be sharing this experience with Ryan is a dream come true for her!”

Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling have been dating since 2011. As previously reported by The Inquisitr, the two had actually broken up for a period of time, but were still seeing each other (read: “sleeping together”) from time to time. Sources say that it was during one of these rendezvous that Eva got pregnant. While there have been some split rumors here and there, sources close to the couple say that they are excited to be on this new journey together. Fans wish them the best of luck.
