Thanks to the omnipresent paparazzi, pictures of the *NSYNC star and his longtime friend Zenya Bashford went viral on the Internet. The grainy pic showed an affectionate Justin Timberlake embracing the attractive brunette singer, but was he cheating or just dancing?

In their September 15 print edition, Star magazine ran with a quartet of photos depicting Justin Timberlake with his arms around backup singer Zenya Bashford along with a quick and dirty description of the alleged cheating incident.

Cameras captured Justin and Zenya all over each other at a Paris nightclub on Aug. 21. ‘He was rubbing and caressing her from behind,” an eyewitness reports. “If Jessica [Biel] had seen that, she would have been very upset.'”

Unless she lives under a rock, Jessica Biel has certainly seen the photos by now. As KDrama Stars pointed out, Justin Timberlake does owe his wife an explanation. Even if a perfectly innocent dance with an old friend was caught in a series of misleading yet incriminating photographs, he owes his wife the courtesy of clarification. He also owes her an apology for any discomfort the pics may have caused her. After decades in the public eye, Timberlake should know better than to engage in any activity that could be misconstrued by onlookers. It’s just part of the price of being a celebrity. No slow dancing in public.

Today, Classicalite pointed out that this isn’t the first time Justin Timberlake has been the subject of cheating rumors. The married man was seen climbing into a limousine last year with a woman who was not his wife. However, the mystery woman turned out to be Timberlake’s cousin and certainly not competition for his affections. Despite that faux pas, the media has been all too willing to believe that the singer and his bride are headed for divorce. However, all signs point to the splitsville rumor being untrue.

The non-couple has known each other for years, and they probably thought nothing of sharing a dance in a club where many other people were doing the same.

Earlier this month, Gossip Cop pointed out that there was neither proof nor evidence that Justin Timberlake cheated on Jessica Biel with Zenya Bashford, yet Star published a headline screaming “$200 Million Divorce Shocker” alongside pics of the married couple. Any concrete details about a multimillion dollar divorce were conspicuously missing from the magazine’s pages.
