Teresa Giudice and her husband Joe don’t think that the outcome of their October 2 sentencing is going to be that bad. According to Radar Online, The Real Housewives of New Jersey stars are telling people that they don’t think that Joe is going to get deported — for one. Also, the couple does not think that Teresa will be sentenced to jail. Of course, this has sort of been the going consensus for quite some time now.
“[Friends of Joe and Teresa] genuinely surprised to hear Joe say he doesn’t think he will be deported back to Italy after completing his expected prison sentence. It seemed like a foregone conclusion that Joe would be deported. However, Joe says there are issues with the mortgage fraud charges he pled guilty to that call the deportation into question. It won’t be up to the judge if Joe is deported, but instead, will be played out in immigration court.”
Teresa Giudice has been living life as usual since she learned about the federal fraud charges brought against her and her husband. She spent the summer at the shore with her daughters and her extended family, not really seeming to care too much about what’s to come. As previously reported by The Inquisitr , Teresa has also been accused of spending loads of money on Botox and laser treatments, not giving up the lifestyle that she is used to despite her financial woes.
While it might not seem like Joe and Teresa are taking things seriously, they have listed their New Jersey mansion for sale. According to Today , the Giudices put their house on the market for $3.99 million earlier this month. If you watch RHONJ , you probably heard Teresa talking about selling her home — and looking at smaller, more affordable homes to live in.
Teresa Giudice may be living on one income if Joe is sentenced to prison, so selling her home (or trying to) is a very smart idea. While there is a chance (albeit a small one) that neither Teresa or Joe will go to jail, it sounds like the couple is thinking ahead a bit. Their fate will be decided in just a few short weeks…
“Teresa and Joe are just laying low, and spending time with the family. They know their time together is coming to an end with Joe most likely going to prison for at least three years. Teresa is thrilled that Joe could be staying in the country, and doesn’t want to listen to anyone that says otherwise.”
