‘Batman V Superman’ News: Released Movie ‘Scene’ Appears To Be Trolling Us

The latest Batman V Superman news revolves around a tweet from director Zack Snyder. It appears the man who’s taking several risks with the sequel to Man of Steel is using his sense of humor to full effect, grabbing a chuckle at fans who await his every update.

It seems that some criminals in Gotham City might have the worst aim in history, as we see two police officers and a GCPD cruiser next to the fully unveiled Batmobile and an oddly dressed criminal. The perpetrator they are arresting is the funny part, because he’s dressed as a Star Wars stormtrooper.

This doesn’t mean there will be a crossover with the franchise that George Lucas built (and almost destroyed). It’s simply Zack Snyder having some fun with the fans.

With the caption “Case closed,” the image released on Twitter shows the classic Star Wars henchman being ushered into a GCPD cruiser, with the lighting and effects just perfect enough to fool the unwary into thinking it’s actually a new scene released among the barrage of Batman V Superman news.

The truth is that the photo was a well-made troll from director Zack Snyder. There won’t be any Star Wars stormtroopers in the Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice movie.

The Batmobile itself has been revealed as quite a beast, rivaling the menacing appearance of Christopher Nolan’s version and the one promised as part of the gameplay in the upcoming Batman: Arkham Knight.

Despite the guns mounted on the hood, this doesn’t mean Batman will kill, as previously reported by The Inquisitr. Batman is a thinking man, always taking the non-lethal route toward neutralizing villains, and the guns are most likely for crowd control or weakening the defenses of armored enemy vehicles.

Zack Snyder’s sense of humor will probably continue through the production of the film so unusually cast that we can’t help lapping up every ounce of Batman V Superman news. None of the humor will appear in the film, so we should enjoy it while it lasts.

The Batman V Superman cast will include the return of Henry Cavill’s Man of Steel, and the introduction of part of the Justice League with Ben Affleck playing what could be a surprisingly good caped crusader. Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman and Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor were also alarming additions to the cast.

There are no plans to put in references to other major franchises, or even Robin from an earlier attempt at trolling us.

With the latest Batman V Superman news actually being a joke, if well set up, we can probably expect a quality film from the sequel to Man of Steel when it hits in 2016.
