‘Teen Mom’ Star Kailyn Lowry Gets Her Own Bus For Her Book Tour
Teen Mom star Kailyn Lowry announced earlier this year that she had written a book about her struggles prior to coming on MTV’s hit show 16 & Pregnant. Kailyn may have shared plenty of things on the two shows she has filmed for MTV, but there are things that she has kept to herself. Lowry is letting it all out in her book, Pride over Pity. Now she is traveling across the country to spread the word about the struggles of teenage pregnancies.
Kailyn knows she wouldn’t be where she is today if it wasn’t for MTV. The original Teen Mom show stopped filming, and Teen Mom 3 was never signed for a second season. But fans of the young mothers want to see them grow up, so MTV continued filming Teen Mom 2. Fans wanted more of Kailyn Lowry, Jenelle Evans, Chelsea Houska, and Leah Calvert.
According to a new Instagram message, Kailyn Lowry is now revealing that she is hitting the road to sign copies of her books. And Lowry gets her own bus as she drives around a couple of states, including Kentucky.
“Sharing my story and having people flat out tell me that watching the show made them think twice about choices they make has made this whole journey worthwhile. From the beginning I have always said that if I could help one person make better choices than I did then my job was done. Just as many have said I inspired them, YOU ALL have inspired me,” Kailyn has revealed on Instagram.
Kailyn Lowry has already encouraged hundreds of young girls around the country to have safe sex if they are indeed having sex. Having a child or two at a young age is quite the challenge, and Kailyn continues to share her struggles on Teen Mom.
“I want to continue my journey in telling my story and help girls (and other young people) find the resources they need to get back in school, find help for domestic abuse, cope with addictions, and help find their place in this crazy thing we call life. Thank you all for watching and remember there are resources out there for preventing pregnancy and learning how to stay safe,” Lowry added.
Besides writing her book, Kailyn Lowry has also been decorating the new home she purchased with her husband, Javi Marroquin. In addition, she recently sported her brand new tattoo. Not only is she sharing the struggles that made her stronger, she is also continuing to be the woman she wants to be.
