Mariah Carey Allegedly Depressed Due To Divorce, While Nick Cannon Celebrates Life As A Single Man
Mariah Carey is currently busy getting her groove on for her upcoming Asian tour, which is set to commence in Tokyo this October. This is despite the fact that the singer, who is currently in the middle of a painful divorce with Nick Cannon, is having a hard time coping with the split.
According to a few reports, Carey is trying her best to smile in the midst of all the marital trouble she is facing. Her social media accounts are filled with photos of her either at rehearsals or playing with the kids, all of which feature a beaming smile that seems to scream “Mariah has moved on.”
However, more recent stories claim that Mariah Carey’s real and current state isn’t as inspiring as her Instagram posts. According to the Hollywood Life, Mariah is having a difficult time coping with her impending divorce. An insider for the gossip site says Carey currently feels upset and humiliated by all the controversy that her divorce is attracting, to the point where professional counsel might already be sought.
“Family and close friends are worried about her. She’s a loose cannon and feels humiliated. She’s too caught up with what others think of her. And she does have a past of self-destructive behavior. She needs professional help and tons of support right now.”
The source adds that Mariah Carey feels “like a failure” and is “totally on the edge,” a striking contrast to what her social media presence is showing us. Although people are wishing Carey happiness and resilience through this ordeal, recent reports seem to imply what fans have been fearing all along.
Meanwhile, Nick Cannon allegedly isn’t doing as badly. The actor was spotted in New York City having a blast without Mariah. According to the Daily Mail, Cannon was seen in NYC wearing party boy apparel — hipster glasses, dangling gold chains, and low-rise pants. Apparently, unlike Carey, the bachelor life is suiting him very well. Allegedly, he didn’t appear like someone going through a tragic divorce. While Mariah Carey is currently suffering from immense sadness brought about by the split, Nick was spotted owning the town and enjoying the life as a single man.
But who knows? Maybe deep inside, Nick is also taking the whole divorce thing just as badly and is compensating by giving himself a break. It’s never a good idea to play the armchair shrink, but getting over such a wonderful woman like Mariah shouldn’t be this easy. At least, that’s what fans would like to believe right now. Besides, the actor recent went on a tweet-spree expressing his admiration for Carey and how amazing a mother she is to Moroccan and Monroe.
