Cristiano Ronaldo Transfer: Manchester United Have First Option, Fans Plead For Hero To Return
Speculation that Cristiano Ronaldo wants to leave Real Madrid has set Manchester United fans into a frenzy, and various social media websites have been lit up by supporters pleading with the soccer icon to return to Old Trafford.
As the Inquisitr reported yesterday, rumors have suggested Ronaldo has grown weary with his time at the Bernabeu thanks to a number of issues, and now Chelsea and Manchester United are set to compete for his signature over the next few months.
According to the Daily Star, United actually have the first option to buy Ronaldo back if he becomes available and they are even believed to be preparing a $100 million bid to try and prize the star forward to them. However, Chelsea have also got Ronaldo at the top of their own transfer list, and their owner, Roman Abramovich, is set to give his manager, Jose Mourinho, as much money as he desires in order to get his man.
Mourinho, who managed Ronaldo for three seasons when they were both at Real Madrid, is also hoping that his special bond with the player will help to seal the deal in his favour.
Manchester United fans have now taken to Twitter in their droves to try and convince Ronaldo to come back to northern England though. You check out some of their messages, which have been sent to Cristiano Ronaldo’s personal account, @Cristiano, below:
@Cristiano Come back home, we still love you! We’re not mad we just want you back home where you belong..

However, despite the best efforts of Manchester United’s supporters, Real Madrid are adamant that Ronaldo isn’t going anywhere and they have already declared that any offers they receive for Ronaldo will be immediately rejected.
This could all change though if Ronaldo announces that he actually wants to leave the club though. Manager Carlo Ancelotti is unlikely to want a player on his ranks who doesn’t want to be there, plus, at the age of 30, it will also be seen as good business to get $100 million for him. However Manchester United and Chelsea fans will also be very aware that if they do manage to get Ronaldo then he is still worth that price.
