Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Lopez have succeeded in various ways, from catapulting into public awareness with a reality TV show to soaring in the competitive music industry. But Vogue magazine announced on Sept. 9 that the dynamic duo have something in common. Due to the dynamic derriere of Jennifer Lopez followed by the perfect posterior of Kim Kardashian, the two women have created the Era of the Big Booty.

Jennifer Lopez first attracted attention for her derriere in the late nineties. She provided a welcome contrast to size zero celebrities such as Gwyneth Paltrow and Kate Moss. Some even claimed that she protected her asset with a multi-million-dollar insurance policy. And while Beyonce did earn praise for her curvy figure, it took the arrival of Kim Kardashian for the official era of well-defined derrieres to commence.

Kim and her booty received their ultimate accolade when she responded to accusations that her caboose was a charade. The fashion diva retorted with an X-ray proving that her derriere was natural rather than an artificial implant or posterior pad.

Now Nicki Minaj is twerking her way onto the booty bandwagon with a remix of “Baby Got Back” that includes derriere-defining movements. So will she, Jennifer Lopez and Kim Kardashian form a Caboose Club? Probably not, if the rumors about their un-friendly feud are true.

“Nobody at American Idol likes Nicki Minaj, there is story after story on how difficult she was during her tenure and (Jennifer Lopez) has heard it all,” a source told Hollywood Life on Sept. 10.

It also doesn’t help that Jennifer Lopez’s former boyfriend, Casper Smart, now has taken on the role of Nicki’s choreographer. But sources say that she’s not mourning her man. It’s more about wanting to stay focused on her multiple careers of American Idol judge, musician and actress.

While it would be must-see TV if Jennifer Lopez, Kim Kardashian and Nicki Minaj staged a battle of the booty, it probably won’t happen soon. Kim is protective of her Keeping Up with the Kardashians franchise, and doesn’t want anything to detract from that.

However, Jennifer Lopez and Nicki Minaj might want to take a clue from Kim Kardashian. As The Inquisitr reported, Kim has a “booty tailor” on retainer in case her protruding posterior causes her seams to explode.

Just how much does it cost? About $5,000 daily, if you want a tailor who specializes in tails. But as the commercial might say: “Cost to have a dynamic derriere? Priceless.”
