Who Is Sadie Robertson, Mark Ballas’ ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Season 19 Partner?
Duck Dynasty star Sadie Robertson is partnered with Mark Ballas for season 19 of Dancing With the Stars. Mark and Sadie will share their first performance in Monday’s premiere on ABC, and fans cannot wait to see these two in action. While fans of the Robertsons already know a lot about Sadie, DWTS fans are curious to know more about her. What’s the scoop on Sadie?
Sadie Robertson shared a cute video via Instagram showing the debut of “Team Quack Attack.” Fans will apparently be dubbed “Team Quack Pack.” Every season teams come up with nicknames to generate buzz, especially on Twitter, and these names clearly are nods to Sadie’s Duck Dynasty connection.
For those Dancing With the Stars fans who aren’t already in the know when it comes to all things Duck Dynasty, Sadie is the daughter of Korie and Willie Robertson. In fact, it seems that Willie has been spending a lot of time at rehearsals as he has been popping up in a lot of the team’s photos shared on social media. Sadie turned 17 in June, so that’s probably why her dad is sticking closely by her side.
Sadie may still be a teenager, but she’s accomplished a lot already. She’s created the Sadie Robertson Live Original by Sherri Hill line of prom dresses and participated in New York Fashion Week last year. Robertson does quite a bit of motivational speaking, and she even has a book coming out in October. That one is called Live Original: How the Duck Commander Teen Keeps It Real and Stays True to Her Values. In addition to doing the show and her line of prom dresses, Sadie does quite a bit with her Christian church. She has done mission trips and work with a summer camp. Sadie does apparently have a boyfriend; his name is Blake Coward and he is a student at Madison Academy in Madison, Alabama. Several of Sadie’s cousins are said to attend the same school. Sadie and Blake share quite a few pictures of one another on social media, even though it is a bit of a long-distance relationship. Will Blake show up in the DWTS 19 audience to support Sadie? Many would imagine he will.
DWTS and Duck Dynasty fans have a hunch that Sadie and Mark could do quite well this season. Mark is quite accustomed to working with contestants much like Sadie, and the two do seem to be having fun together. There are quite a few potentially great pairings in season 19, though, including Bethany Mota and Derek Hough along with Janel Parrish and Val Chmerkovskiy, so fans will have to be sure to vote. Tune in for the premiere of Dancing With the Stars airing on ABC on Monday, September 15 to see how Sadie Robertson and Mark Ballas do in their first dance.
