T.I. Released From Halfway House
Rapper T.I. on Thursday morning was released from an Altanta halfway house.
T.I. spent 14 days in the house as part of his 11-month prison sentence from a parole violation and with the house behind him T.I. will now continue with a year-long probationary period.
Real name Clifford Harris Jr., the rapper is no stranger to the inside of a prison, he spent seven months in an Arkansas facility in 2009 after negotiating a plea agreement over federal gun charges. T.I. attempted to purchase three machine guns from an Atlanta grocery story parking lot.
T.I.’s newest prison stay occurred after he was stopped on Sunset Boulevard with his wife in Beverly Hills, California.
According to CNN:
A police report said suspected drugs were found in the couple’s car and they were both arrested on drug charges. The charge against the rapper was later dropped, but he failed a drug test given by his parole officer.
Now begins the countdown until T.I. heads back to prison on some new crazy charge he probably hasn’t even thought up yet.
Let’s take a poll, do you believe the rapper has finally learned his lesson and will avoid another stay in the clink or will he be heading back to visit his old friends behind bars?
