Chris Soules As ‘The Bachelor’ 2015: What’s The Latest As Filming Gets Ready To Start?
The Bachelor in Paradise finale airs Monday night, and once it is done, many will start to turn their attention to Chris Soules and The Bachelor 2015. It’s going to be a long, dry spell as “Bachelor Nation” fans wait for a new series from the franchise to return, but it looks like it will be worth the wait. The network has officially announced that Chris will be handing out roses, so what is he doing to get ready for filming?
The Bachelor fans will be happy to know that Chris Soules has been working hard to prepare himself for the role. In what way? His fellow The Bachelorette pal Cody Sattler has been staying with him for the past few weeks and they’ve been working out together. Cody, a personal trainer, is doing what he can to prepare Chris for all of the hot tub scenes that the ladies are anxiously waiting to watch this winter. In fact, fellow The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise co-star Brian Osbourne just spent some time in Iowa with the guys too.
Now that Brian is headed home, and Cody is apparently headed to Utah where he’s going to be relocating to be with Michelle Money once the Bachelor in Paradise finale is done, Chris will start packing his bags. Reality Steve’s spoilers have indicated that filming for the new season begins mid-September, so any day now Soules should be meeting his bachelorettes for the new season. Chris hasn’t been sharing too much via his social media pages since the big announcement, and of course he will be going dark while filming the show. The finale is typically taped right before Thanksgiving, and then fans will have to hang on until the January premiere. The new season should begin on January 5, 2015.
The choices for The Bachelor 2015 seemingly came down to Soules and former Emily Maynard The Bachelorette contestant Arie Luyendyk Jr. As Us Weekly noted as Soules was announced, Chris says that he’s doing the show because he believes in the process and he thinks there’s potential to find the future Mrs. Soules by becoming The Bachelor.
Will ABC be smart and stack the deck of bachelorettes with ladies ready to truly embrace Chris’ lifestyle? He is a farmer in Iowa, and he lives in a small town. As some have noted, though, Chris and his family have been farming for generations, and they are said to be quite successful at it. Soules has said he’s ready to find love, and he wants a lot of kids. Hopefully the ladies about to start filming have a genuine interest in him and the kind of life they would live with him.
