Will Hayden’s Daughter Stephanie Claims Molestation After ‘Sons Of Guns’ Star Arrested
Will Hayden’s oldest daughter, Stephanie Ford, came forward over the weekend to say that she suffered sexual abuse at the hands of her father. Hayden, the star of cancelled TV show Sons of Guns, was arrested last month for aggravated rape of his 12-year-old daughter.
While Stephanie initially supported her father, TMZ reports that she now plans to meet with investigators in Baton Rouge next week to tell them about the assault she allegedly suffered.
Ford told the gossip site in early August, “There was never any impropriety in our home. He was and is a good father.”
Hayden’s younger daughter told investigators that the gun shop owner “orally and vaginally raped” her multiple times. Reports say the abuse happened on an almost daily basis since March 2013 and the last incident happened in July 2014.
Fox News notes that the alleged victim didn’t report the abuse earlier because she was afraid Will Hayden would hurt her. According to police documents, the victim claims her father told her “don’t tell them nothing because I’m all you got.”
Following Hayden’s arrest, his company, Red Jacket Firearms, posted a statement distancing itself from Hayden. The statement read:
“Red Jacket Firearms LLC has initiated and received full legal separation as an entity, from William M. Hayden. With heavy hearts, we will be continuing to operate and ensure the fulfillment of new customer orders, back orders and to provide support to those affected by these new developments.”
While Will Hayden’s oldest daughter has not made a statement about her accusations to the media, her husband, Kris Ford, took to Facebook to address the situation. He reportedly wrote, “You fooled with my wife when she was young. Sucking and groping, do you remember what was done?”
The comment has since been deleted, along with a post Stephanie Ford used to address her husband’s comments.
An attorney for Will Hayden claims his daughter’s charges against her father are the result of an agenda. The lawyer told TMZ, “After 45 shows and 20 years, this is the first I’ve heard of it.” He added, “Her complaints arose only after her income from the show and [gun] shop stopped. She’s still will’s daughter and he loves her.”
At the time of his arrest, Hayden claimed the sexual abuse allegations were false. According to him, they came from a scorned ex-girlfriend, his daughter’s mother. However, Hayden’s arrest and the formal charges against him came after the young girl came forward with details about the alleged assaults.
It is unclear if Will Hayden’s oldest daughter’s claims will amount to more charges for the former Sons of Guns star.
