Kate Middleton Pregnant: Clarence House Tweet Official Announcement
After months of speculation and a rumor mill permanently in overdrive it has finally been confirmed by Clarence House that Kate Middleton is pregnant with child number two.
The royal couple announced that Prince George, who was born in July 2013, will soon have a baby brother or sister.
Clarence House announced the happy news at 10.27 a.m. (British time) this morning, tweeting:
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their second child.
“The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news that Their Royal Highnesses are expecting their second child.”
British Prime Minister David Cameron was one of those first in line to congratulate the royal couple and said:
“Many congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. I’m delighted by the happy news that they’re expecting another baby.”
Kate Middleton and Prince William announced the news this morning prior to an official engagement at Oxford University to open The Dickson Poon University of Oxford China Centre Building.
