‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Finale: Fantasy Suite Shocker, Broken Hearts, And Wedding Bells

Bachelor in Paradise host Chris Harrison promises plenty of drama on the season finale, with break-ups, tears, and at least two love connections that continue on after the show ends. Who are the winners of ABC’s newest summer reality show and who goes home with a broken heart on Monday night?

Harrison tells Access Hollywood that, unlike Bachelor Pad, there is no cash prize up for grabs on Bachelor in Paradise. Instead, couples win by finding love in just three short weeks of filming. Six couples make it to the finale, but it is rumored that only two will find love and walk off into the sunset. Four couples will split up either before or after a stay in the Fantasy Suite.

Before they make their final decision about their future as a couple, three former Bachelor franchise couples will arrive in Tulum to dole out relationship advice. WetPaint reports that Sean and Catherine Lowe, Jason and Molly Mesnick, and Chris Siegfried and his fiancee, former Bachelorette Desiree Hartsock, will “interview the couples” and “test the strength of their relationships.” It is not known what questions they will ask, but it will be interesting to listen to their answers, considering a few of the couples just started dating on the last episode of Bachelor in Paradise.

While Harrison promises a dramatic season-ender, many fans are prepared to see at least one relationship crash and burn on Monday night. A long-term relationship isn’t in the cards for Graham Bunn and AshLee Frazier, and their un-love story will come to a dramatic end on the finale. As The Inquisitr previously reported, AshLee will have a meltdown when Graham breaks it off with her, after declining Harrison’s invitation to spend the night in the Fantasy Suite.

Reality Steve reports that Robert and Sarah will break up in Paradise, but this may happen after they spend the night together. On last week’s episode, Sarah showed interest in getting to know Brooks, but stuck it out with Robert because the relationship seemed more dependable. Did her interest in Brooks play a part in her breakup with Robert? Fans will find out on Monday night’s finale, but Sarah’s recent blog in Parade is proof positive that her decision not to go on a date with Brooks Forester was a tough one.

“I just spend the whole week worrying about Brooks only to discover that Robert and I are on the rocks again!?”

Two couples didn’t get much time to develop a relationship on the show, so it will not be a big shocker when Tasos and Christie and Zack and Jackie part ways at the end of the show. The only detail that Reality Steve was unclear about in his spoilers was whether or not these two couples shacked up in the Fantasy Suite or politely declined alone time off camera.

However, there are two couples who not only took advantage of the time alone in a private suite in Tulum, they also are reportedly still together after filming wrapped up several weeks ago. The winners of Bachelor in Paradise are rumored to be Marcus and Lacy and Cody and Michelle.

Fans will see Marcus propose to Lacy on the finale, but Cody will not follow suit. Instead, he and Michelle will agree to continue their relationship, one that looks like it has potential, considering Cody moved out of his Chicago apartment several weeks ago. His Instagram photos reveal that he’s not only moving closer to Michelle Money, but he’s making a pit stop in Iowa to train the next Bachelor, Chris Soules.

Former cast members Chris Bukowski and Elise Mosca were flown back to Tulum in attempt to have three Bachelor in Paradise winners, but Reality Steve reports that he declined to propose to Elise and they are no longer dating.

Tune in to watch the Season Finale of Bachelor in Paradise starting at 8 p.m. on September 8 on ABC.
