Patti Stanger Apologizes For Hating Gay and Jewish Men
Patti Stanger is making the traditional “I’m sorry please don’t end my career” rounds today after insulting gay and jewish men last week.
Speaking to TMZ she says of her homophobic and anti-Semitic remarkds:
“I am so sorry. I did not mean to offend anyone with my comments last night.”
The comments she is referring to happened on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live when she said gay men are incapable of monogamy while she added “There is no curbing gay men … I have tried.” She went on to add “Jewish men lie.”
Taking the apology one step further Bravo offered their own apology noting:
“[Patti’s] comments are not representative of the network’s beliefs and opinions. We apologize for the offense it caused.”
Perhaps Patti Stanger and Mel Gibson can form their own reality show together where they run around shouting inappropriate comments at people and then offering half sincere apologies through TMZ a week later.
Do you feel like her rather short and less than stellar comment was enough to make up for her very disappointing comments.
