Tamra Barney Firing: Did Tamra Hint She Was Leaving ‘Housewives’ On Her Blog?
Tamra Barney firing rumors have been heating up the internet since the finale of the show aired. According to The Hollywood Gossip, Bravo is looking to replace The Real Housewives Of Orange County star after she angered some of the cast members and many of the show’s fans.
Bravo is actively casting for someone who is a voice of reason. They want to replace [Tamra] who’s stirring up too much sh-t… the entire cast is against her. Everyone is stirring the pot too much. So they’re not necessarily looking for someone who’s a sex pot or out of control. Actually, just the opposite. They want someone who’s really successful, an entrepreneur or just someone who’s well respected among their peers.
A Tamra Barney firing would be a huge move by Bravo, given the fact that the reality star and gym owner has been a cornerstone on the show for several seasons. As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Tamra recently said that there was “not a chance” she’d leave the show.
“I have been told I’m the highest rated on our show. Just keeping it real baby!” Tamra said. Despite Tamra saying that she wasn’t leaving the show. However, it sounds like she may not have a choice at this point. Her sentiments after the show aired completely (including the reunion episodes) seemed quite different.

In her blog, Tamra Barney didn’t mention a potential firing directly… but she did issue and apology for her behavior. She also hinted at “the future” and said that she didn’t know what was in store for her.
Cheers to the end of a very difficult season for me. The reunion is the time to lay everything out on the table and straighten out any misconceptions. Emotions run high and voices get loud. I know that this year was probably my worst year on RHOC and I apologize to my fans for letting them down. I am not proud of my behavior and I have learned a lot from what has happened. I started the season at a very bad time in my life (something I have not spoken of publicly) and contemplated not returning to Season 9, now I wish I had taken a step back and dealt with my issues as needed.
Tamra has not signed any contract that would bring her back for Season 10. That doesn’t necessarily mean that she won’t be coming back. At the end of every Housewives season, there is chatter about who is getting fired or leaving the show on their accord. None of the women have signed on to do a new season, which is likely why the rumors are running rampant.
