Samsung Galaxy S II Reaches 10 Million Units Sold Milestone
The Samsung Galaxy S II is one of the best reviewed Google Android phones of all time and now it’s also one of the best selling. Samsung on Sunday announced that their popular Smartphone has now sold 10 million units including five million units which sold in just eight weeks.
The Galaxy S II offers some impressive features including a 4.3? Super AMOLED Plus display, dual-core processor and HSPA+ connectivity. The Galaxy S II also offers an 8MP camera with LED flash, full HD recording and playback and WiFi direct for easy third-party device connections.
Throw in NFC (Near Field Communications) support, a newly revealed “social hub” function and thousands of Android supported apps and it’s easy to see why the Smartphone has become so popular.
In a press release Samsung said of the devices milestone:
“In just five months the GALAXY S II has seen tremendous growth, reflecting its tremendous popularity with customers around the world, who in selecting the GALAXY S II as their device of choice have driven the device’s strong market position globally.”
