‘Real Housewives’ Heather Dubrow Uses Weak Argument For Having A Bad Season
Heather Dubrow is using a weak argument over why she was portrayed in a bad light in Season 9 of Real Housewives of Orange County. On the part 2 reunion Monday night, Dubrow insists the reason her public image has taken a hit has to do with how she communicated verbally and with hand gestures.
According to a recap by Buddy TV, the brunette blames the “tone and timbre of my voice, and it’s the cadence at which I speak, and it’s my vocabulary, and it’s the way I gesticulate with my hands.”
Heather says she’s from New York and naturally speaks fast, so she has to slow down and think more about what she’s saying. This could make her seem more “condescending” than she really is, she explains.
The Real Housewives star also thinks that people might basically dislike her because if someone is liked, people will forgive their “little silly things.”
Heather had a tone to her latest blog entry that was posted Monday morning. She began her Bravo post being on the defense:
“We have put ourselves on a show where our every move is scrutinized. We are not perfect people. No one is perfect. We all do and say things we regret. Most of us do not do it in front of an international audience. You are all entitled to your opinions. It’s what makes the show interesting, fun, and a ‘watercooler’ conversation piece.”
Dubrow went on to write that she has a “group of friends that accepts my weaknesses and celebrates my strengths.”
Season 9 wasn’t exactly a great season for Heather Dubrow and her husband, Terry Dubrow. It’s clear they were the villains of the show this time around.
“… It’s very easy to judge and hate — but why? Does it make you feel better about your own life? Have you never done or said anything you regret? Can you imagine if it were captured for the world to see? I hope to keep growing and learning from my mistakes and my experiences. I hope you all do too. I hope you are all not judged too harshly and are forgiven when you are ready to make amends. Living in a space of hate and resentment is a bad place to exist. It’s much better to love, forgive, and move on. I feel that’s where I’ve come with all of the ladies at this point. Now we will see what the future holds.”
Heather did apologize for some of the footage viewers saw and realizes how people could be put off by her conduct on RHOC.
What’s your opinion of Heather Dubrow, and do you support her reasoning?
