Uma Thurman Opens Up About Quentin Tarantino Romance Rumors

Uma Thurman and Quentin Tarantino have been rumored to have been dating for months, and now, Thurman is finally talking about whether or not the Hollywood stars are actually in a romantic relationship.

Uma reportedly broke her silence, according to an interview with Vs. Magazine. Uma told the magazine, “I was discussing [the rumors] with Mr Tarantino last night. He was angry at me for not calling him back because as he said, ‘According to the papers we are practically married!’ and he laughed hysterically.”

Thurman then went on to clarify exactly what their relationship actually is saying, “is pretty much what it’s always been; people are just having fun with it.”

Uma Thurman and the man who served as her director for several films have apparently been friends for years, but in recent months, there were reports the relationship had taken a more romantic turn.

Uma Thurman has worked with Tarantino on films like Pulp Fiction and the Kill Bill series but has recently been taking some time off from acting. During the interview, Thurman also talked about her lack of work in Hollywood.

Ms. Thurman said she had taken a kind of hiatus as she raised her two children, but she is now ready to get back to work and has started focusing on a couple of projects.

Uma, now 44-year- old, burst onto the Hollywood scene more than 20 years ago and had her fair share of appearances in romantic comedies, but it was her roles in Tarantino films that made Thurman one of the most talked about actresses of her generation.

Uma has also somewhat recently split with her longtime fiance and photos surfaced of Thurman and Quentin Tarantino getting quite cozy. The fact that neither of the stars was talking about what their relationship might be was only helping to fuel rumors of romance.

At least for now, it appears the actress is quite happy to be single and to remain friends with a man she’s worked with quite often. Whether or not Uma might work with Tarantino on another one of his films in the near future is still up in the air.

Thurman didn’t say exactly what projects she will be working on in 2014 or 2015, but she wanted to make it clear she was indeed going to be working hard to get back into the Hollywood spotlight.

In other words, look for Uma Thurman to be in a movie theater near you sooner, rather than later.
