Justin Bieber & Selena Gomez Go To Canada, Share ‘Statement’ Selfie

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez seem to be fans of Beyonce’s Instagram-the-haters-away-approach. The couple posed for a cozy selfie yesterday — and, it’s still up! Are they declaring they’re together?

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have decamped to Canada.

After arriving Wednesday, they posed for a selfie that’s virtually screaming: “We’re back together.”

So far, it’s been up at the Bieb’s Instagram page for over 11 hours and has attracted over 1.34 million “Likes.”

Yesterday, fans were the first to notice Jelena were on the move. One posted an Instagram clip of the pair arriving in Waterloo, Ontario via private plane.

Soon afterwards, pictures of Justin’s impromptu meet with Beliebers at the airport surfaced online, followed by media reports.

Hours later, he Instagrammed a black-and-white photo of himself with Selena.

In it, Justin does his usual version of someone-stole-my-puppy meets Blue Steel look, while his “elegant princess” leans in looking unreadable in Jean Shrimpton eyeliner.

Earlier this week, the heartthrob posted a snap of his dad, Jeremy, and brother and sister, Jaxon, 4, and Jazmyn, 6, captioned, “I miss you guys I’ll see you soon,” so this Canada getaway appears to be planned.

And according to E! News, the lovebirds likely headed to Jeremy’s. After revealing the pair picked up a take-out at a Tim Horton’s in New Hamburg, Ontario around 7.30 p.m. last night, a source added:

“His [Justin] dad lives around here and he has come through here about three times this year.”

The confidant continued: “Selena came to the counter with the bodyguards and Justin went into the bathroom. They came in and ordered a bunch of food and drinks.”

Then added, ” They ordered paninis and crispy chicken sandwiches and donuts. They had bodyguards with them so some of the food may have been for them too.”

Not surprisingly, given the insanity that kicks off whenever either star steps out, the insider said the duo was low-key.

“Justin and Selena did not speak to each other and I think they were in separate vehicles.”

Perhaps the couple will hop over to the romantic cottage Bieber reportedly owns in nearby Muskoka. As previously reported, it’s where Jeremy celebrated his 40th birthday with family and friends, and seems ideal for romance.

The Canada trip follows a month of Justin hinting that he and Selena are back together with posted, then deleted photos. So the black and white selfie is an exception. So far.

Just the day before, the 20-year-old shared a shot of his girl while she got ready to appear on Chelsea Handler’s finale show. He deleted it hours later.

Sources close to the on-off couple told Us Weekly, “They are doing what they are doing.”

And, specifically, of Selena? “She doesn’t care, she doesn’t define it.”

That’s a statement in itself, although it seems clear to us the sweethearts have reunited. It’s also likely they couldn’t wait to leave Los Angeles after recent dramas.

On Monday night, their date at a Dave and Buster’s in Hollywood, turned into allegations over a cellphone.

A male accuser claims Bieber lunged at him in an attempt to delete video footage and photos taken of the couple by the accuser on his cell. The LAPD investigation is looking into claims of alleged attempted robbery, attempted battery and attempted theft, despite police officers at the scene determining, “There’s been no theft, no scuffle and no crime occurred.”

A secondary – and frankly, ludicrous – claim has been made. Both are being investigated.

The following day, Justin’s red Ferrari was rear-ended by a paparazzo in West Hollywood.

Small wonder Jelena jetted to Canada. More importantly, is anyone taking bets on how long that selfie stays up?
