‘The Fault In Our Stars’ Ansel Elgort Breaks Up With High School Sweetheart
The Inquisitr just reported on the Digital HD release of the massive film hit The Fault In Our Stars about two teenagers with cancer who fall in love. The Fault In Our Stars stars Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort, both of which have recently been in the news for their respective relationships. Woodley is rumored to be with Ellen Page, while Elgort publicly announced his romance with his high school sweetheart, Violetta Komysham.
But not longer after the news that Ansel was happily taken, it seems he and Violetta have officially broken up. According to Us Weekly, a source close to Elgort and Komysham announced their split earlier this week.
“They tried to navigate his commitments, but between filming and press for the movies [it got difficult],” said the source, who also added that The Fault In Our Stars star was experiencing “young love.”
The good news is, Ansel and Violetta supposedly ended the relationship on friendly terms. It was a mutual breakup.
The Fault In Our Stars heartthrob had only just announced his love for Violetta, a ballet dancer, in Paris at the Valentino show for Paris Menswear Fashion Week. Elgort’s biggest fans will likely be excited to hear that he’s single again, but a little heartbroken on his behalf since it seemed the two were quite happy together.
According to M Starz, Ansel Elgort found the relationship hard to maintain after his fame skyrocketed as a result of The Fault In Our Stars film. While Violetta was an entertainer herself and a former graduate of the performing arts school, LaGuardia High School, it seemed the two could not reconcile their differences. The Fault In Our Stars leading man evidently had a lot of scheduling conflicts that made spending time with Violetta more difficult than ever.
Elgort made his first public appearance without Komysham since the breakup at his sister Sophie’s wedding this past weekend in Southampton. Ansel was seen singing to his sister and dancing with friends and family.
Ansel Elgort might not be cozying up to any new girls any time soon, either. He still has a lot on his plate. Now that The Fault In Our Stars’ success is winding down, Ansel will be staring in Men, Women & Children, the new film by Jason Reitman.
