Mariah Carey And Nick Cannon Rekindling Their Relationship?

Mariah Carey, who tied the knot with Drumline actor Nick Cannon in 2008, has decided to pack her bags. Her soon-to-be ex-hubby confirmed last week that the two have been living separately for a while now. The legal negotiations regarding the custody of their kids Monroe and Morrocan haven’t been confirmed, although Mariah’s husband has been rumored to seek full custody of the children.

The divorce confirmation was a “Heartbreaker” for fans of Mariah and Nick, who have always been there to give their support to the couple ever since day one. However, a new scoop from TMZ is giving Carey’s admirers a tiny glimpse of hope. Apparently, a short time after they confirmed to have parted ways, Mariah Carey has begun bonding with the actor again. The gossip source even went on to claim that the two have never been closer, even more than when they were still together.

Allegedly, Carey and Cannon were spotted spending time together at a restaurant in Tribeca, indicating that the relationship between the two has began to go uphill, compared to how they were six months ago, when Carey couldn’t even stand being in the same room as Nick.

Today, Mariah Carey is trying to enjoy Cannon’s friendly company, mainly for the sake of their kids, who will surely be missing mommy if the actor succeeds on getting full custody. And according to insiders, Mariah’s newfound bond with her ex is blossoming to new heights.

However, fans shouldn’t be too quick to assume that this is love all over again. This whole deal isn’t going anywhere near the love zone, according to TMZ. It’s primarily for the kids, and it will indefinitely be so. Mariah is trying to make this whole split happen as smoothly as possible, and Cannon appears to be doing same thing.

While Mariah Carey and her ex-husband seem to be getting along just fine despite the long and painful break-up, family members aren’t taking matters as gracefully. According to Necole Bitchie, Nick’s dad James reportedly took to Facebook his disappointment over Mariah’s behaviors during the years the couple was together. Here is a snippet of his status:

Mariah Carey will be busy in the coming months for her Asian tour, commencing in Japan this month and will end at Manila on October 28.
