Prince Harry 30th Birthday: Kate Middleton Planning Party, Reportedly Inviting Two Ex-Girlfriends
Prince Harry may have some awkward company for his 30th birthday party.
As the younger brother of future king Prince William prepares to hit 30, sister-in-law Kate Middleton is reportedly planning a giant 30th birthday bash and decided to invite two of his ex-girlfriends.
The Duchess of Cambridge has reportedly teamed up with London nightclub owner Guy Pelly to set up the party, and will turn some rooms in Kensington Palace into a nightclub. Kate is also making the guest list and has reportedly decided to invite Harry’s former flames Cressida Bonas and Chelsy Davy.
“Harry has no problem with seeing his exes all under the same roof. Let’s just hope they don’t either,” a source told the Mirror.
That could have something to do with Prince Harry’s new girlfriend. He has reportedly been getting serious with Camilla Thurlow, the former Miss Edinburgh and an employee at the non-profit organization Harry’s mother Princess Diana founded. Kate has reportedly invited Harry’s new flame as well.
But the circumstances could still be awkward for Prince Harry. He has not been seen with Cressida Bonas since their split earlier this year, and sources said publicly that Harry had grown tired of her.
“Harry thought she was boring toward the end,” a source told E! News after Harry and Cressida split. “She didn’t like to go out, party and have fun as often as he does, and they weren’t matched enough for him to commit. Cress is beautiful, intelligent and fun — but she’s no raver like Harry still enjoys. Harry just wasn’t ready to settle down and head down the route of getting serious with his royal commitments. It’s going to take a special girl to tame him.”
The other former flame of Prince Harry, Chelsy Davy, will reportedly announce her engagement any day now.
Prince Harry has at least a little more time to prepare for the awkwardness. He doesn’t turn 30 for another couple of weeks.
