Ariana Grande Holding Hands With Big Sean Backstage At VMAs [Photo]
Ariana Grande had quite the night on Sunday at the MTV Video Music Awards. Aside from opening the show, the singer also took home the award for Best Pop Video for her hit song Problem. It was just after Grande accepted her award, however, that cameras caught another big moment: Ariana was walking backstage, holding hands with her rumored new beau, Big Sean. According to WetPaint, the two had previously been trying to keep their romance private… but now it looks like the word is officially out!
“After winning the moonman for ‘Best Pop Video’ for ‘Problem,’ Ariana was spotted with Big Sean backstage with their hands interlocked… The duo was spotted holding hands on the backstage livestream at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards. Nice job trying to hide the romance, you guys, but the jig is up!”
Ariana Grande, 21, has only been rumored to be dating Big Sean for a couple of weeks. The two reportedly got close while working in the studio together, recording Best Mistake. The 26-year-old rapper broke up with his girlfriend, Naya Rivera, about three months ago — and while you might think that it’s too soon for him to be in another relationship, Rivera ended up running off and secretly getting married to Ryan Dorsey.
According to ABC News, Grande looked very comfortable with Big Sean. Although she too had a recent breakup (she had been dating Jai Brooks until earlier this month), Ariana seems quite content with a new guy by her side.

Ariana Grande wasn’t ready to really take her relationship with Big Sean public, however. The singer walked the red carpet solo, looking fabulous, and seeming really at ease despite her upcoming opening performance, which really is a lot of pressure for any singer. As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Grande took her grandmother along as her date for the evening. However, it looks like she really had two dates, even if she didn’t want the public to know about one of them.
