War Machine To Be Extradited, Prison Blog Reveals Psyche Behind Christy Mack Beating

War Machine, the MMA moniker of a man named Jon Koppenhaver, is currently incarcerated and facing many years of prison time for the recent brutal beating of former girlfriend and porn star, Christy Mack.

Yahoo Sports reports that War Machine was arrested last Friday in California for being a fugitive from justice, following the beating of Mack on August 8th in Las Vegas.

Appearing in a Ventura county court room, War Machine didn’t fight the extradition effort which will take him back to Nevada in the wake of his days of being on the run in California.

The vicious, relentless beating of both Christy Mack and another who was at Mack’s Las Vegas home when War Machine unexpectedly paid a visit, revealed the extreme level of violence the former MMA fighter is capable of, but what kind of mind, and views, drove that penchant for violence?

Some light is shed on this question when reading the extensive blog entries War Machine kept four years ago while doing 12 months in jail for his involvement in a nasty bar fight in San Diego, CA.

While War Machine’s writings show that he hates everything about jail, from his “cellies”, to the boredom, to being hungry all the time and the ongoing “s**t bomb” wars between inmates, his views on Women, Race and the American Male’s place in the world also expose some of what was behind the beating that left Christy Mack with a broken face, ribs and other injuries.

According to The Daily Beast, War Machine wrote reflections to a friend once a week, who in turn posted the entries online. Reminiscing about the death of his father who died in his arms when War Machine was 13, and the death of his best friend from 8th grade and the guilt he feels for not speaking at the friend’s funeral, hint at the pent up rage and anger inside War Machine. Given the physical tools, and being a self-described “Alpha Male”, War Machine’s traits obviously stewed together for a volatile mix.

On being an alpha male, and the downside that he feels came with it, War Machine writes:

“Being an ‘Alpha Male’ Is a real phenomenon. People always seek out to challenge me. Seek me to follow and girls to f**k. Seriously, since I was in Kindergarten I’ve always been the leader, always got the girl and always was provoked to fight. And since I always win, I always get in trouble! B.S.! If I wasn’t tough, I’d be the world’s biggest victim and would get nothing but compassion. Just cuz I win fights, that others start, I’m a criminal? F**k the laws in this country.”

The discovery of War Machine’s blog has also revealed that he’s not just capable of violence, but also offending pretty much everyone across the board. One of his observations includes comparing the oppression of “MEN” to that of Jews in Nazi Germany and African American slaves, as reported by Shalom Life:

“The oppression of MEN is worse than oppression of Jews in Nazi germany, worse than the slavery of Blacks in early America… I’m not exaggerating either. Every Jew & every Black man, both in jail and those who have managed to avoid it, will attest to what I have just wrote… Before people cry about me comparing the oppression of MEN to the Holocaust and slavery, let me illustrate a few things. The oppressor has learned from history that dead bodies attract too much attention to what’s going on, or YES, there would be millions of dead MEN! They’d love that quick fix! In order to be elusive and to have longevity, the oppressor has learned to kill MEN while their bodies remain alive. And with your ‘spirit extinguished’ you’re nothing but a f**king zombie, a shell of a man, waiting to die. And THAT is just as bad as death itself. The animals at the zoo are as good as dead just as we are, the MEN in America.”

Other topics War Machine explores, include “rape fantasies” where he asks: “Why is it okay for women to admit they have ‘rape fantasies’ but if a man were to it’s the end of the world, he’s disgusting, evil, etc.? I’ve heard from countless women that they have this fantasy, but never from a man, why?”

The truth behind Racism according to War Machine:

“I think racism, as it was, is pretty much over. There is only one part about it that remains… and that is: NO White, Mexican, Italian, NO ONE wants their sister, mother, ex-g/f, current g/f, or any other pretty white girl to date a black guy! I share this opinion and I’m definitely not racist. But I figured out why! The one thing stopping complete integration and ending racism is the MYTH that blacks have bigger d**ks then other races! That’s it!”

In his final entry, War Machine reflects on what he’s been through, incarceration, and how to avoid being there again:

“So what I really “learned” about that night and about other times I’ve gotten into street fights, and how to avoid them and avoid trouble in the future is simply: DO NOT PUT YOURSELF IN SITUATIONS/PLACES WHERE FIGHTS CAN HAPPEN… This will be my LAST blog from jail, the next time you hear from me I’ll be a free man again.”

But these few years later, War Machine finds himself back behind bars for the savage beating of a woman he says he was wanting to marry.

So perhaps one can avoid potentially violent situations, but it’s very difficult if that violence is you.
