Zayn Malik ‘Irritated’ With Harry Styles’ Constant ‘Lectures’
Rumors about a rift between Zayn Malik and Harry Styles have made the rounds since the former was unexpectedly busted smoking pot with Louis Tomlinson earlier this year. While the guys say that everything is a-okay behind-the-scenes right now, some anonymous sources believe tension is at an all-time high.
One Direction is currently in the middle of an epic North American tour, one that is reportedly putting some stress on the singers’ friendships. According to the Mirror, the fellas are booking separate hotels during their trip across the United States because they can’t stand the sight of one another at the moment. Allegedly, of course.
Here’s how everything went down in New York City earlier this month:
“While Niall and [Zayn Malik] slept happily at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Hazza travelled another three minutes away to the Ameritania. Slightly further away was Louis and his floppy hair at The Standard High Line and Liam finished the pack down at the Soho Grand. It didn’t stop there though because they all started off at the Fairmont Battery Wharf Hotel in Boston, before Hazza moved over to the Four Seasons.”
Unreality TV reports that Harry Styles is possibly the source of stress in Zayn Malik’s life these days. Rumor has it that Styles wasn’t at all happy about Malik’s weed-related behavior earlier this year, a fact that he allegedly shares on a regular basis these days.
A source said of the situation:
“Harry thinks the others are immature and not as driven as him, while Louis and [Zayn Malik] get irritated with his lectures.”
Of course, this isn’t the first time drama has reportedly gone down between the One Direction singers. The Inquisitr reported earlier this summer that Harry Styles and Zayn Malik were at odds, though one source seemed to think this had more to do with the Harry’s penchant for blowing things out of proportion.
“It’s Zayn and Louis against the others — Harry, Liam and Niall are furious. They had a dramatic meeting last week and Harry was the first to lash out, telling them they’d messed everything up. But Zayn turned it around on Harry and accused him of only being interested in himself. Poor Niall has been in tears — he’s worried this could be the end of the band.”
