For most of the fans that watch the WWE today, nobody thought they would see Hulk Hogan back in a professional wrestling ring. In a recent report on the Inquisitr two weeks ago, Hogan has continued to campaign his way to another wrestling match and that his health won’t stop him from completing his goal.
A new report surfaced earlier that suggest Hulk Hogan’s on a nonstop route to competing in one more match for the WWE. At this rate, nothing can stop the WWE Hall of Famer.
Hulk Hogan has been campaigning for a match at next year’s WrestleMania, but WWE doesn’t actually have anything planned for him. Hogan was said to be “going into business for himself” and trying to get interest in a return to wrestling. No surprise there.
Hogan claims his back is no longer a problem and he wants to work with either John Cena or Steve Austin at WrestleMania 31.
To dissect Hogan’s interest in another match can only be done with fictitious storylines and the mindset that it will never happen. Not to bash the Hulkster, but the majority of the fans WWE tries to reach, the younger demographic, doesn’t want to see Hogan wrestle. They want to see Cena or Roman Reigns wrestle.
That isn’t the only thing hindering Hogan from wrestling for WWE again, but they don’t even want him back. I don’t blame Triple H or Vince McMahon for not having any interest in a “Hulk Hogan Comeback.” He is too old. Plus, Stone Cold doesn’t have any interest to wrestle again, unless the perfect storyline is pitched.
If something were to happen between the two legends, WWE would’ve already started to align the stars in order for that to happen. Hogan is 61-years old with a body not fit to wrestle a match. It is as ridiculous as Ric Flair ever wanting to wrestle again. He doesn’t want to, but the physical would be too intense to pass at their ages.
Hogan needs to be wise and keep the boots untied for the remainder of his successful life. His birthday bash was phenomenal and a great moment in WWE history. He doesn’t need to wrestle to create memories. Time is running out for Hogan, but it looks like the clock was never set in WWE’s eyes to begin with.
Continuing to entertain the Hulkamaniacs throughout the world is his only duty from here on out. While wrestling again for the WWE would bring a lot of the old-time fans out, it isn’t worth risking his health to do so.
