Farrah Abraham Absent From ‘Teen Mom’ 2015 Season, Has Bigger Fish To Fry?
A recent report suggests that Farrah Abraham will not be returning for another season of MTV’s Teen Mom. Three original cast members inked contracts for the new 2015 season recently, but the Backdoor porn star is rumored to be moving on by choice — or not.
Us Weekly ran an exclusive on the return of Catelynn Lowell, Maci Bookout and Amber Portwood. Absent from the cast of the show’s starring members was Farrah. Although the magazine made a curt mention of Abraham’s MIA status next season, Fox News suggested the controversial Teen Mom star was left out of the lineup in order to pursue more roles in adult film and literature.
As spelled out in Farrah Abraham’s bio, the single mother of one daughter (Sophia) has always been ambitious and has big aspirations to excel in many areas of her life.
Farrah thinks she can have it all — and tries to juggle work, culinary classes at the local college, a modeling career, and a social life, on top of raising her baby.”
Recently, Farrah made headlines when news surfaced of her landing a stripping gig in Austin, Texas. Instantly, critics and tabloids described her exotic dancing job as a desperate attempt to earn cash, because her porn videos were supposedly falling short of her goals.
However, Abraham countered by saying her decision to strip at a gentlemen’s club is motivated by research. Apparently, she is channeling a beloved celebrity’s strategy of putting herself in the movie role, first, before beginning production.
It’s job shadowing that I hope pays off. In the same way Jennifer Aniston researched her role as a stripper, that’s what I’m doing. It’s how I get the information to write my books and do my movies,” said Farrah in a recent interview.
Rumors that Farrah Abraham is not returning to another season of the reality show is not all that surprising. Of all the cast members, arguably, she’s made the most moves career-wise. Since gaining notoriety from 16 and Pregnant and Teen Mom, Abraham has starred in two adult films, put her name behind a number of novelties and signed a short-term $544,000 stripping job. In short, she’s a busy body and does not appear to be letting outcries of her career choices to derail her ambitions.
Perhaps, Farrah is smartest person in the room, and isn’t as shallow as many would believe.
I’ve learned that this industry has class, strength, and has taught me life skills to better myself for my daughter’s future. I’m thankful and shocked that my job shadowing has led me to another amazing opportunity,” she added.
Like her or not, it seems that Farrah Abraham will be in the public’s eye for a while, and will be making it rain in the VIP room — at least until the new year.
