Jill Duggar Pregnant: Star Expecting Child With Husband Derick Dillard
Looks like there’s a lot to celebrate if you’re in the Duggar family. Jill Duggar, from the reality show 19 Kids and Counting, married her fiance Derick Dillard back in June, and is now expecting the couple’s first child.
The two shared their first kiss back when they said “I do” on June 21 in Arkansas, and now they’re on their way to becoming parents. Back in June, Jill Duggar said of Derick:
“I love Derick’s desire to follow God and to serve others. Derick is so romantic.”
TLC confirmed the news with a press release. A representative from the show said the network is “thrilled” that they are continuing on the good old Duggar tradition.
Jill Duggar was very open about how they met when speaking about their relationship on the TLC show. Back in April, Jill detailed how her relationship with Derick Dillard grew after being introduced to him through her father.
“When my dad first introduced Derick and I, we spent hours texting, calling, and talking on Skype. We knew within days that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together.”

Jill Duggar told People about their exciting news, “We’re having a baby! We are so excited.”
Jim Bob, the patriarch of the Duggar family set the scene on when and how the announcement took place.
“About 30 days after Jill and Derick got married they gathered everyone in the living room and shared the news. Everyone was clapping and cheering, and we were in shock, too.”
Jill Duggar is the second Duggar child to start a family of her own. Brother Josh Duggar and wife Anna already have three children.
This isn’t the only thing the Duggars are celebrating in their family. Jessa Duggar recently announced that she’s engaged to Ben Seewald.
The reality star wrote on her Instagram: “Time for some engagement photos” and shared a couple from their shoot.
The reality star announced her engagement on Twitter late last week:
“Y’all! I still can’t believe it! I’m engaged to the most amazing guy on earth. Every time I look down at the ring on my finger…it takes my breath away! I love you, @ben_seewald!”
Jill’s announcement is now making the rounds on social media, and some people pointed out the obvious.
