Farrah Abraham Compares Herself To Jennifer Aniston: Strips For ‘Research’
Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham is working as a stripper to make some serious cash, but the reality star says that she’s not looking at this new gig as a career. According to E! News, Abraham says that she didn’t take the job to take her clothes off and dance sexually for the pleasure of men. Oh no. Abraham is working at Palazio Gentlemen’s Club in Austin for research purposes… just like Jennifer Aniston. Uh, what?
“I’m doing research. A friend of mine works there and I’m researching. I’ve been trying out all the roles that make up a gentleman’s club, including cocktailing and dancing. There’s management and there’s cooking too. It’s job shadowing that I hope pays off. In the same way Jennifer Aniston researched her role as a stripper, that’s what I’m doing. It’s how I get the information to write my books and do my movies. Unfortunately, I’m not free to talk about what those future projects may be. But I’m interested in hearing all the women’s stories. And while I’m doing it, I’m getting paid. I’m getting paid to play a role and get informed.”
Apparently Farrah Abraham is going to play the role of a stripper — or that’s what she’s going after anyway. After doing porn, there probably aren’t too many things that Abraham wouldn’t do. And yes, the fact that she is getting paid really helps. As for what she’s getting paid, well it’s a pretty significant amount. According to The Inquisitr, Farrah inked a deal for $544,000 with Palazio Gentlemen’s Club. It’s unclear exactly how long Farrah has to dance for, but that’s excellent money regardless.
It’s such good money, in fact, that Abraham has left Teen Mom. Farrah did not sign on to do the new season according to Us Weekly. Naturally Farrah doesn’t need a paycheck from MTV since she’s getting quite the paycheck from Palazio. Filming and what not probably didn’t fit into her schedule — the half a million bucks probably outweighed the offer from MTV… or maybe Farrah just doesn’t want to be a reality television star anymore, who knows?
Out of all the Teen Mom stars, Farrah Abraham is really the only one who stepped outside the reality television world and made a career for herself. While sex tapes and strip clubs might not be ideal, she’s taking advantage of offers coming her way and making a better life for herself and for her daughter. And that’s totally positive… right?
