The rumors over what will be included in the GTA V 1.16 update have run rampant since the release of the Independence Day pack in July, and have included code discovered for things like Heists and Zombies. Rockstar is coming out with the San Andreas Flight School content, however information began leaking last Thursday on what was coming with the next DLC update.
Rockstar has not officially announced the names of the planes, helicopter, and car of the Flight School update, but this is what was revealed through leaks via Reddit.
The Mammoth Hydra will cost $1.7 million and is a two-seater jet. Meanwhile, the Western Besra is a training jet that costs $1.985 million. Finally, the Buckingham MilJet will seat 16 and cost $1.25 million. Both the Besra and MilJet will spawn at the Sandy Shores Airfield.
The single new helicopter is called the Swift and appears to seat at least two, possibly four players. Details on it are light currently, but this article will be updated when more come in.
The new car is the Invetero Coquette Classic and is based on the classic Corvette Stingray design from the 1960s. It will cost around $665,000.
The additional content for GTA V included in Flight School Update is 10 new solo missions. Here is how they are described, according to the leaked information.
“Grab the stick of the fast and nimble Western Besra training jet and push it to the edge of the envelope. Master absolute air superiority in 10 new solo missions that will make you comfortable in any pilot’s danger zone, including combat maneuvering, low-flying challenges, formation flying and more.”
There will also be new parachutes added with designs based on different countries around the world plus new military clothing items to go along with the planes.
Rockstar is also promising “a host of gameplay changes to GTA Online– these include increased payouts for harder to complete missions and GTA$ bonuses for playing missions with others.”
GTA V should be updated around 5 am to 6 am Tuesday morning for the Xbox 360 and later in the afternoon for the Playstation 3. Expect Rockstar to release the official details of all the new items and gameplay changes at that time.
