Hulk Hogan is betting the farm on the WWE SummerSlam 2014 results, already declaring who he thinks will win the Brock Lesnar Vs. John Cena match tomorrow night.
In a related report by The Inquisitr , since it’s the WWE Heavyweight Championship belt up for grabs, we should note that it’s rumored that Brock Lesnar’s WWE contract allows him to compete in both the UFC and WWE at the same time. This makes for a very interesting, but also highly unlikely, scenario where a currently reigning WWE champ could become a UFC champion as well.
Everyone seems to be making the obvious prediction nowadays for the SummerSlam 2014 results. Paul Heyman , of course, is already claiming that Brock will be the winner, but he admits that even if Lesnar holds the WWE title he still won’t be fighting in a wrestling ring unless he wants to… or if “you’ve got someone tough enough to drag him out there on nights he doesn’t feel like appearing before you.” The current rumors going around claim that Lesnar will fight Roman Reigns for the title at WrestleMania 31 , which also happens to be the last day of Lesnar’s contract with the WWE.
Hulk Hogan seems to have a completely different storyline in mind. When the Hulkster was asked on Twitter by the Brooklyn Brawler what he thought, the answer was somewhat surprising:
@brawlerreal I’m betting the farm on my Champ John Cena to win at WWE SUMMERSLAM. BROTHER!!!!! HH

WWE fans who hate the babyfaces will of course not like this idea, but many also do not like Lesnar for his part timer status. Based upon how WWE creative tends to work, it seems very likely they’ll have Lesnar stomp out of the ring with belt in tow, especially since Undertaker’s streak was just ended. It just does not seem logical to think otherwise.
Of course, Hogan seems to be quite the contrarian nowadays. Despite a sport poll showing that most fans don’t want Hulk to fight again, he insists that he’s physically fit and ready to jump back in the ring. (Or maybe hop or skip, just none of those horrible back injury-creating leg drops.)
What do you think about Hulk Hogan’s prediction on the John Cena Vs. Brock Lesnar match? Are you excited for SummerSlam 2014, or do you think the story is getting a little too predictable?
