WWE: Brock Lesnar Is A Farmer At Heart, John Cena Match At SummerSlam 2014 Is Only For Money

Brock Lesnar’s WWE match schedule as some fans upset that a part timer would be allowed to defeat Undertaker’s streak and even take the WWE Heavyweight Championship belt home if he happens to beat John Cena tomorrow at SummerSlam 2014. But if you look at his history, Lesnar has never hid the fact that he feels like settling down in Canada as a farmer some time in the future.

In a related report by The Inquisitr , it’s rumored that Brock Lesnar’s WWE contract would allow him to compete in both the UFC and WWE at the same time. Now, Paul Heyman is saying that even if Lesnar takes the WWE title, he still won’t be fighting in a wrestling ring unless he wants to… or if “you’ve got someone tough enough to drag him out there on nights he doesn’t feel like appearing before you.” Based upon the current rumors, it seem likely that Brock will keep the belt until a match at WrestleMania 31 with Roman Reigns .

If you look at Brock Lesnar’s career, you’ll see he goes wherever the money leads him. After a contract dispute with the WWE management, he attempted a football career only to try his hand at New Japan Pro Wrestling and the UFC. While some fans may not like how Lesnar treats wrestling as only a clock in/clock out day job, at heart he’s really just a South Dakota farmer who also happens to be good in a fight.

The WWE management knows this fact very well. For example, Paul Levesque aka Triple H once said:

“Brock wanted to come back and be involved but he didn’t want to be here full-time and travelling every day. He didn’t want to be in the ring every single day. I’ve said this many times but Brock is a simple guy. He’s a farmer, that’s what he is. I know that doesn’t look like what he is, but right now he’s probably harvesting crops somewhere on his farm. That’s the reality of who he is. He likes to go home, sit, drive a tractor and harvest crops. It just so happens he’s a badass on the weekend.”

If anything, it might be considered admirable that Brock puts his wife Sable and his three children first before his career. The WWE star shuns the media spotlight because he wants to protect the private lives of himself and his family. Even though his diverticulitis is apparently now under control, Lesnar also isn’t willing to risk his health over making even more money in the WWE.

In the long run, Lesnar has been talking about becoming a Saskatchewan resident, although he would still retain dual citizenship with the United States. He has a brother with a farm in the area, and he’s long enjoyed visiting the countryside and wildlife of Canada.
