WWE superstar Randy Orton is now just a water boy to Roman Reigns… well, at least in one fantasy world.
In a related report by The Inquisitr , the WWE management warned its wrestlers to be more careful when using social media like Twitter and Facebook. Although Alberto del Rio certainly deserves a lot of attention for the way he behaved, this announcement was like a shot over the bow for Orton, who has become infamous for making waves on social media.
For example, a very arrogant Orton took a selfie of himself blowing off the cops after they pulled him over due to his illegally modified car. But one fan apparently touched a nerve when he claimed Orton had been dishonorably discharged from the United States Marines . While that was not technically accurate, many former Marines still feel he was a heel in real life, not just in the wrestling ring. The issue came to a head when Orton made his infamous Latino Ms. Piggy tweets, although some fans defended the wrestler since it was claimed the woman was stalking Randy Orton’s girlfriend Kim Marie .
With SummerSlam 2014 just days away, it’s no surprise that Roman Reigns might be throwing some barbs in the other wrestler’s direction. Reign’s real name is Joe Anoai, and he once played football for Georgia Tech, so he has his own fantasy football league where he has assigned some famous names.
For example, Reigns has Orton doing the dirty work for him:
“Randy Orton, he’s my water boy. He gets the towels.”
Roman even used his fantasy football list to take a stab at his former Shield teammate Seth Rollins for betraying both him and Dean Ambrose in the WWE ring.
Because of these actions, Rollins was rolled out from the list:
“[Y]ou can’t trust him. He’d probably send our game plan to the other team.”
In a funny move, Reigns even sucked up to the boss by making the fantasy football team owner Vince McMahon:
“He’s like the Dallas Cowboys owner [Jerry Jones]. That type. They’ll shoot the skybox more than the field.”
Here’s a complete list of all the players in Roman Reigns’ list :
- Left Tackle: Big Show
- Right Tackle: Tensai
- Guards: Mark Henry and Bray Wyatt
- Center: John Cena
- Tight End : Wade Barrett
- Running Back: Dolph Ziggler
- Full Back: Ryback
- Wide receivers: Kofi Kingston and Fandango
- Quarterback: Cesaro
- Nose Tackles: Big E Langston and Rusev
- Defensive Linemen: Luke Harper and Erick Rowan
- Defensive Ends: Titus O’Neil and Curtis Axel
- Linebackers: Himself and The Usos
- Safeties: Xavier Woods and Chris Jericho
- Cornerbacks: Tyson Kidd and Dean Ambrose
Do you think Randy Orton would make a good water boy? I’d imagine he’d be good at dispensing plenty of water in the ice bucket challenge .
