Chelsea Handler Posts Naked Pic On Instagram, Channels Inner-Kardashian

Chelsea Handler declared herself an honorary Kardashian by posting a nude picture of herself on Instagram Thursday.

Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, and Khloe Kardashian are no strangers to posting naked or topless snaps of their assets on social media, and the Chelsea Lately host reasoned that there’s room for more soft porn — mixed with a bit of tongue-in-cheek humor.

Weeks from now, Chelsea will sign off from her long-running show and begin a new chapter in her life, sans the mandate on celebrity news talking points and focus on bratty celebs and contrived brands. Meanwhile, Handler appears to be intent on getting a few things off her chest, albeit at the expense of a famous reality TV family. Hint: KUWTK, citing an MSN report.

Chelsea Handler posted a topless photo of herself on Instagram with the caption “I’m a Kardashian.” The joked was aimed at the highly-cited family, namely the flagship diva-in-charge, Kim Kardashian, who rose to stardom compliments of a sex tape.

However, one only has to think back to an interview Chelsea gave in June to gauge what the story really was behind the partially-nude image. In May, the chat show queen announced her planned departure from E! this August.

After a seven-year run, the 39-year-old has lost interest in the lives and happenings of celebrities like Justin Bieber — a staple on her show — and the Keeping Up with the Kardashians family. In short, she’s over celebrities.

“To be quite honest I don’t really care about Justin Bieber and I don’t want to talk about him anymore. In order to make that happen I had to just stop doing my show. Straight away. I think if you participate in the celebrity world then you don’t really have a choice but to be involved in the drama. You end up getting so into the mix that it changes the topics of the day. You can sit around and complain about all that shit and the Kardashians all day but if you’re participating in it then what can you do? It really didn’t feel great doing the show and the only way to sort things out was to extricate myself from the entire situation.”

Handler is no stranger to stripping down to her skivvies or going in the buff. Who can forget when she and Sandra Bullock argued naked in the shower? Chelsea’s latest move appears to be geared around trying new things instead of being typecast as a wisecracking blonde with unfiltered chutzpah.

Although she’s turning in her late night couch, don’t expect her to retire from going topless on Instagram wherever needed, or parading around in her birthday suit. Remember, she’s a comedian. In fact, her new quest to make you laugh will begin with a partnership with Netflix.

Handlers says she was hired to star in her own talk show and take part in the production of several docu-comedy specials. Oh joy!

On how she will feel upon departing from her popular late night chat show, Chelsea Handler suggested she will harbor no ill-will. Instead, she’ll look at it as a memorable time in her life.

“I will always look back at my time on E! as most people look back at their time in college. I’m glad I went.”
