Ariana Grande & Big Sean Probably Dating, Rapper Says: ‘Great Friendship’

Are Ariana Grande and Big Sean dating? The rapper has denied it and says the pair have a “great friendship” and people “need to chill.”

Ariana Grande and rapper Big Sean are reportedly “getting very close” and may be dating.

And yes, you could have knocked us down with a feather with this one.

According to a new report, Ariana Grande and rapper Big Sean’s relationship has moved on considerably from friendship.

A source seemed to insinuate to E! News that Sean, who worked on Grande’s hit last year’s “Right There,” and new release “Best Mistake,” are now dating.

“They have been friends since they made the song together,” said the insider.

The source went on:”They have been spending more time together and recently have been getting very close. They are both doing great.”

But, wait, everyone.

In an phone interview with the UK’s Capital Radio FM on Tuesday, Big Sean denied he and Grande were dating.

The 26-year-old MC — real name, Sean Michael Anderson — told the station the pair have a “great friendship,” adding that people “need to chill.”

However, in their report which was published before Capital’s interview, E! went on to reveal the couple were reportedly seen kissing during a recent late showing of The Purge: Anarchy at The Grove in Los Angeles.

A witness said the pair arrived about a quarter way into the film, locked lips during the movie and left before it ended.

So, was Big Sean playing hard and fast with Capital Radio, or is he dating Ariana?

As always, time will tell.

But, if they are dating, while Ariana and Sean’s relationship could be the start of something epic it’s also fair to say both artists would be on the rebound.

After Sean made the decision to call off his engagement to Glee star Naya Rivera in April, the actress stunned just about everyone with her hush wedding to actor Ryan Dorsey last month.

For Ariana, too, it’s been a rocky time of late. The petite songstress is coming off her recent reunion with Aussie Janoskian prankster Jai Brooks, 19, which ended earlier this month.

Previously, E! reported Ariana ended it because, “When her grandfather was dying, everyone was there for her. People flew to Florida to be with her, but Jai didn’t.”

At the time an insider said: “Ariana just felt he wasn’t there like he should have been.”

Meanwhile, Big Sean and Ari’s new track “Best Mistake” just got a debut and — aptly — it’s a sexy, slow jam about an on-off relationship.

Hmm, we wonder if Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez’s ill-fated romance was an inspiration. Justin is a friend of both Ariana and Sean.
